Summer fun continues....

It's parade time with Dad, as he has to drive the sports med. van in a parade and the girls get to through candy. They look forward to this every year!

Having some fun at a new splash pad just a couple of miles away.

I guess it's time for Meghan to retire this swim suit:)

And here is what happens when Mom uses fresh canned tomatoes and makes the girls macaroni and tomatoes....when Mom isn't looking its time to eat from the pot and watch some Noggin. Funny! I guess she likes it.....

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!

We couldn't get in her room fast enough to take a picture of Meghan, this girl darted out of bed for her first day of kindergarten!

She started the day by wrestling McGuire, who loves, loves, LOVES to jump on the girls and wake them up. Meghan is not quite with it yet, as you can tell in this pic....

But now she is and it was her first day of school - a day she has looked forward to for a very long time!

Big sister Abby was excited for Meghan too, as Abby had already been in school for a few days before Meghan got to start. She'll have her little sister's back!

The girls get to pick their special breakfast for their first day of school; Meghan wanted strawberry pancakes and bacon. She was a little too excited to eat but managed to get a few bites down.

Just like Abby, she wanted to have a Bobby Jack backpack for kindergarten. She picked it out all by herself!

Here is the big girl....craziness that she is now 5 and on her way to school.

We love walking to school, only now Meghan doesn't have to walk back with Mommy after we drop off Abby.

Hook # 4 is where we have to hang the backpack.

Getting all adjusted before she finds her seat.

And time to get to work on coloring that big school bus! Here's the beginning of a few years of school....

Abby's big day of first grade started early! She wanted to leave her hair in braids until after her first day of school was done. She too, was pretty excited about her first day.

1st grade....WOO-HOOOO!!!

How many other first graders were outside at 7 am picking tomatoes for breakfast??? Only Abby, we are sure. She wanted fresh-sliced tomatoes, scrambled eggs, and bacon for breakfast. KY roots coming thru on that one!

She was shortly joined by Meghan, who had her kindergarten assessment bright and early on Abby's first day of school.

Both the girls picked out their own dresses for the first day of school and did quite well in their selections! Beautiful girls, all we have to say! We are blessed parents!!!!

Hello Kitty was Abby's selection for her backpack this year. CUTE!

Good thing Dad carried her 1st grade supplies to school because the list was long!

Here is Abby on the 2nd day of school, at her desk and ready to go. The camera ran out of batteries, so we made our way back the next morning to grab a pic.

She always has to be a few minutes early to school and she wastes no time in getting to work. Her first grade teacher actually told us that she and the other teachers argued over 4 students they wanted in their class and Abby was one of those! She felt lucky to get her. Shad and I were very proud of Abby. We're sure Meghan will follow the same path! Here's to an awesome school year!

Our 2010 Vacation...

One of the reason why we picked the Gulf of Mexico....

Finally, FINALLY here @ St. Pete Beach in Florida!

We were lucky enough to find some donated sand toys that someone left behind....after it was all said and done we passed them along as well!

Abby wanted to get her hair braided and here is the finished product! Very nice.....

After playing hardcore on the playground on the beach, this girl was toast!

Making cookies at the resort.

One of the favorite pics from our vacation.

Shamu ice cream, it doesn't get much better than that!

Taking a break from the sun to make shark tooth necklaces.

Our finished products!

This kid loved the water and the sand. Beach bum all the way!

Down the 3 story slide....

Living it up....

One our way out of Tradewinds Resort. We loved our vacation so much that we already booked the resort for 2011! This was the first time we truly took a week vacation by ourselves/ for ourselves and absolutely loved it. We realized we need to do this more often;)

And now we are SeaWorld!

The first stop was the Elmo and Abby Caddaby show.

We got to meet some of the dolphin trainers and performers after they put on a stellar show.

Petting and feeding the stingrays.

Checking out the underwater dolphin tank before we head up to feed them.

One of the Shamu trainers, cool stuff!

After Shamu soaked us with 52 degree water, the girls were pretty excited about that as you can tell by their faces.

We love coasters! The girls are little thrill seekers....

Truly one of the coolest things we have ever done...feeding the dolphins was great!

We could even pet their chin if we wanted....
