Summer days are coming to an end :-(

We took one more day to hang out at the pool before it closes next weekend. It took all summer but Abby finally went down the slide all by herself! Then we couldn't get her off of it...

And this little girl has NO fear! She loves walking in the water, just out of arm's reach.

And of course, we have to have an ice cream sandwich!

Abby is a fan of the Oreo ice cream sandwich as well.

Whoa, whoa, WHOA!!!!!!

Maybe one day I can get one of these in my backyard...

No ropes can keep me confined!

And one last hug for the frog before we leave the park for the summer. Stay tuned next week, as well take a trip to Kansas to see our new cousin Ema and to celebrate Ava's birthday!

Summer fun....

Here is Meghan enjoying a little fun in the pool at Grandpa Hall's house.

Come back here Abby!

And Abby did really well in her swimming ring, she loved it!

And here's Dad with his girls - looks a little sunny here, doesn't it???

Now look in the distance - this is about 5 minutes later...

Even though it's getting a little darker, Lou put some arm rings on Meghan and off she went in the pool - swimming like a waterbug!

But our pool fun did not last for long, as a very strong wind came through in a matter of minutes. It even blew Grandpa Hall's heavy grill into the pool, along with about 6 hanging baskets. You can see the grill that Daddy fished out of the pool, as well as the cooler, boxes, and several baskets. And of course, the water got a little dirty after that. Maybe it was a Kansas tornado!

Let's read a book!

Of course they can't read yet, but the girls took turns on "reading" their interpretation of the story...

Play time with Ronald...

Check out our new goggles!

Do you like my new shades???

Abby told us that she would swim underwater if we bought her some goggles. So far it has worked but we haven't used them in the pool yet!

Two Happy Girls!

Abby has a smile on most of her day! Friday was her last day of summer camp at the YMCA. She had a great time and made lots of crafts and pictures, as well as made some new friends. Can you believe that she will be turning 4 years old next month? That's crazy!

Do you like my tan lines?

More family fun...

And here's Meghan, all smiles after going to Sunday school. She is talking more and more everyday, speaking full sentences even!!! More words come out of her mouth everyday. And she even brings books to Mommy and Daddy to read to her. Meghan has definitely came a long way in a short time since having tubes put in her ears. She can't wait to show off all she's learned in the past few weeks to anyone who hasn't seen her lately!

Here's Abby - she wanted to wrap Popaw's birthday present.

Meghan wanted to help too, so we all know how that turned out!

And with a little help from Mommy, things turned out ok.

A bad habit that Meghan has picked up, driving and talking on her phone...

Abby wanted to get Popaw a Spiderman cake, so that's what he got!

Meghan LOVED her chocolate cake!

And here we are, helping Popaw open his presents.

Granny thinks I am a silly girl;-)

Family reunion fun...

Time to play!

C'mon Meghan, wake up!

Daddy won me a turtle!

This is a stroller-full!

Sharing is a good thing!

When your tongue turns green that means that this Jolly Rancher drink was good!

Our day at the waterpark.

Spending a little time in the wave pool.

Abby didn't quite enjoy it as much as Abby.

Abby wants out!

All smiles....

A little calmer water is better for me!

Meghan makes her way thru the pirate ship.

Life's a beach!

Snack time!

Let's go ride some rides!

Let's have some ice cream!
