Our 2010 Vacation...

One of the reason why we picked the Gulf of Mexico....

Finally, FINALLY here @ St. Pete Beach in Florida!

We were lucky enough to find some donated sand toys that someone left behind....after it was all said and done we passed them along as well!

Abby wanted to get her hair braided and here is the finished product! Very nice.....

After playing hardcore on the playground on the beach, this girl was toast!

Making cookies at the resort.

One of the favorite pics from our vacation.

Shamu ice cream, it doesn't get much better than that!

Taking a break from the sun to make shark tooth necklaces.

Our finished products!

This kid loved the water and the sand. Beach bum all the way!

Down the 3 story slide....

Living it up....

One our way out of Tradewinds Resort. We loved our vacation so much that we already booked the resort for 2011! This was the first time we truly took a week vacation by ourselves/ for ourselves and absolutely loved it. We realized we need to do this more often;)

And now we are SeaWorld!

The first stop was the Elmo and Abby Caddaby show.

We got to meet some of the dolphin trainers and performers after they put on a stellar show.

Petting and feeding the stingrays.

Checking out the underwater dolphin tank before we head up to feed them.

One of the Shamu trainers, cool stuff!

After Shamu soaked us with 52 degree water, the girls were pretty excited about that as you can tell by their faces.

We love coasters! The girls are little thrill seekers....

Truly one of the coolest things we have ever done...feeding the dolphins was great!

We could even pet their chin if we wanted....

Summer fun....

Meghan and Abby spent a week at Vacation Bible School at the church were they attend daycare. Not only were some of their friends there, they got a chance to meet some new ones as well.

They love to sing and learned a few new songs. The CD is almost worn out!

A goody bag filled with all the things they worked on during VBS. The girls had a fun week!

One of our several days at the pool, enjoying our Capri Sun and PB&J sandwiches.

The family on Father's Day after church, enjoying our day at the park.

Daddy and his girls, enjoying the afternoon.

Always ready to pose for pictures.

Daddy's Father's Day gift - a new Cubs shirt and tickets to Wrigley Field! We also had some awesome grilled shrimp and strawberry pecan spinach salad. Good stuff!

Shad did a good job scoping out the food joints in Chicago. He long awaited a stop at Al's Italian Beef....the one right down the street wasn't good enough, as we had to make the 30 minute walk to the "Original" Al's Italian Beef.

And a stop at Billy Goat's Tavern for breakfast one morning, $5.25 got us a huge slice of ham, 3 eggs, 3 pieces of bacon, 3 pieces of sausage, and a rather large order of hash browns. Could have fed several more people on that breakfast!

Here we are at Wrigley Field, with seats 7 rows up from the visitor's dugout. Awesome!!!!

Even though the Cubbies lost by a run, we had a really great time. I even got a baseball from warm-ups!

Weekend in St. Louis

We love good times with our cousins Ava and Ema! In June we met up in St. Louis to hang out for the weekend.

Meghan and Ema celebrated their birthdays together.

At Grant's Farm, we fed the hungry little goats some milk bottles. The girls actually got a little scared after the goats jumped on them and nibbled on the bottom on their dresses.

On a sticky hot day it was tough to get a picture of everyone together but we gave it a fair shot...

Meghan gets a little time with Uncle Shay.

This group will soon move to five after Ava and Ema welcome their new sister! We can't wait!!

Gymnastics with Meghan and Abby

The girls took gymnastics in May/June for the first time. They both liked it very much! They each had an Interclub Meet, where they showcased their skills.

Trophies rock!

Abby was up for her Interclub. She did very well. Maybe gymnastics are in the future for her, we shall see!

After a first place finish and 3 second place finishes, she even got a trophy! Great job kid!!!
