Get us to the BEACH!!!!
We finally made it to Orlando!!! It's 5:15 am and Meghan is wide-eyed and ready for some chocolate milk!
Can you think of a better place to be? We can't - watching the sunrise was definitely worth waking up early for.....

Getting to stay at Aunt Becky's and Uncle Gene's house was a great way to start out our vacation!! We truly enjoyed our time with them very much!!!!!
Abby enjoys some Cheeto's and Tang during her private picnic on the beach.
We are ready to play in the ocean!!!
While Meghan holds her ground in waves that were bigger than her!
Abby likes the water nice and calm.
AAHHHHH, now she's refreshed!
Abby works hard at writing her name in the sand.....
And here is here completed project! Now, when the tide came in, that didn't go very well with little Abby.
The big smiles say it all - we had a wonderful time on the beach at Uncle Gene and Aunt Becky's house.
Meghan is hard at work to build her sand castle.
Just the girls hanging out behind the dunes.
Well, maybe the sand castle didn't work out but if Meghan can play and get dirty, that's happy enough for her!
Two little Coppertone Bernard girls...only Meghan inherited her Daddy's skin tone while Abby - sorry kid - you're stuck with your mom's!
It may be pretty difficult to play in the sandbox in our backyard ever again!
Way, WAY out here in the ocean....
Way, WAY out here in the ocean....
The crazy thing is that a sherriff's boat came flying by to tell everyone to get out of the water, as 2 pairs of fins were confirmed in the area not too far behind us. Who knows what the fins were, sharks or dolphins, but we like to think that they were friendly dophins just coming by to say hello to Abby and Meghan! YIKES!!!!!
And Meghan, what can we say! We got the girls a $1 kite to fly on the beach....we told Meghan not to let it go, so what does she do???? You guessed it...she let it go. Despite Mommy's best efforts to catch it, it was swept out across the ocean. Little Abby was devastated and got so upset that everyone on the beach felt sorry for her. Hopefully she will get over the hurt of losing her first kite.
